OTCex is a brokerage house assisted by an electronic platform that allows regulated market participants to trade equity option volatility. OTCex links its individual brokers with market-makers and traders allowing for more efficient, multi-lateral negotiation of OTC (Over The Counter)options prices.
My role as lead designer was establishing brand, designing and building out website with heavy emphasis on data-rich screens, and marketing collateral. Additionally, brought copy writing and illustration skills to the platform UX.
Brand mark + word mark - horizontal lock-up. Graphical mark communicates “exchange”, representing the trading entities themselves as well as the act of exchanging capital for shares. Given that it was a Paris-based company I chose colors seen with some frequency in the “visual vernacular” of France
Palette & Font treatment
Landing page. Recognized the potential of using logo for navigation, bringing a cohesive UX. Background incorporated video footage from Paris driverless metro line 14.

Iterations before arriving at final version. For quick iterations that feel “less precious” I often use sketching. Allows me to move quickly and not get too committed to ideas.
